CONTROL Preproduction-Ornament Patterns

Here are a bunch of research from the preproduction of CONTROL.
Sadly i have kept very little.
Those were created in an attempt at breaking the concrete base of the architecture with different materials and Brutalism-inspired patterns.
They are all made out of modules that can be combined to cover different sizes of surfaces.
Initially i planned on having one material and one pattern type for each sector.

This is the first module I created for the -initially planned- Executive Sector. I planned on using Brass as a warm material that combines nicely with the red surfaces and wood panellings.

A couple of those assembled together to create a vast pattern.

And a lighting test to see how warm it would feel.

This pattern was designed for the Containment Sector. Much more aggressive, strict and colder.

This vintage one was supposed to be copper, but i think didn't make it into the game.
